Before the appointment, avoid eating or drinking for 2 hours, take your prescribed medication, and ensure a responsible adult accompanies you. After the appointment, avoid activities like driving, operating machinery, or making important decisions for 24 hours. Rest, eat light meals, and stay semi-upright when lying down. Your responsible adult should stay with you for 24 hours post-treatment.
